At 1200 Pharma, Martina is responsible for the in vitro preclinical screening of novel compounds with the aim of identifying of lead candidate molecules for clinical development. Martina graduated from Dublin City University, Dublin Ireland with a bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Biotechnology and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the University of South Carolina, Columbia SC. She joined the laboratory of Professor Dennis Slamon at UCLA in 2017 and in 2019 became an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine. She has published many peer reviewed papers and is the co-inventor on numerous patents arising from over 8 years of experience working on in vitro preclinical drug development.
