Noah obtained his Ph.D. from University of California, Los Angeles under the supervision of Professor Neil Garg, investigating indolactam alkaloid natural product total synthesis, nickel-catalyzed cross-coupling, and aryne reactivity. From there, he conducted postdoctoral research with Professor Robert Grubbs at Caltech, studying the construction and reactivity of unexplored ruthenium-based olefin metathesis catalysts. Noah started his industrial career at IBM Research in 2017, developing unique materials for the fabrication of efficient semiconductors. In 2018, he continued on as a process chemist for Amgen’s early-stage small molecule portfolio. Excited to translate his development experience to an intriguing new setting, he joined 1200 Pharma in July of 2021. Noah has co-authored thirteen peer-reviewed publications and patents.
